Dann Hume is an award-winning record producer, mix engineer and songwriter from New Zealand. 

He formed the band Evermore with his brothers and together they had many chart-topping albums and singles whilst based in Australia.

Dann’s first record as producer was Lisa Mitchell’s 2009 debut album ‘Wonder’. This became a platinum-selling record and won the Australian Music Prize.

He has gone on to work with critically-acclaimed international artists including Matt Corby, Amy Shark, Troye Sivan, Laura Mvula, Courtney Barnett, Tash Sultana and many more. 

During his time in Australia, Dann won the ARIA Producer of the Year in 2018 and 2019. He also won 1st Prize with Matt Corby at the 2019 Vanda & Young Global Songwriting Competition for the single ‘Miracle Love’. 

Since arriving in to the UK in 2020, he produced and co-wrote the Laura Mvula record ‘Pink Noise’, and together they won the 2022 Ivor Novello Award for Best Album and were nominated for the 2021 Mercury Music Prize.
